A large part of the cost of setting up an income producing farm comes from the myriad pieces of plant and equipment that are needed to be purchased. Because we are selling Tropical Blooms as a fully operational walk in walk out operation the new owner will receive an enormous amount of equipment.

Looking down the length of our huge work/packing area

We have prepared a detailed spreadsheet which lists over 100 different pieces of plant and equipment which are included in the sale price. These items, conservatively costed, are estimated to have a current replacement value of approximately $325,000.
We have divided the list into sections such as office, packing shed, irrigation and machinery. Even we were surprised when we started to detail all of the equipment on the farm.
As an example we have over 2000 assorted size cartons, 15,000 meters of plastic box liners, 10,000 flower sleeves, around 100 plastic buckets, 3 kilometres of underground poly pipe, over 200 steel sprinkler uprights and flick sprinklers, 30 x 2 and 1 inch electronic solenoid valves and wiring to two irrigation computers, 2 tractors and all implements, 2 ride on mowers, 2 push mowers 2 whipper snippers, 2 tractor mounted spray units, around 4000 sq metres of shade houses, 300 sq metres of working floor area under roof. The list goes on and on.
The plant and equipment value included in this sale represents a valuable asset in the overall purchase of Tropical Blooms and should not be overlooked by potential buyers.
